The below steps assume the wall-mounted installation type.

  • Note Some people need the 2"x"4"x16' board and dowel cut in ½ for easier transport. In this case you'll need an additional bracket and its hardware for the board and a coupling for the dowel.
  1. Measureand mark where you want your brackets on the wall
    • Note The 16'x12' tarp wraps around the dowel at the ground to support 16'x10', 16'x9', 16'x8', etc. This also allows flooring upgrades (skating tiles, gym tiles, etc) without having to remount your brackets.
    • Note Make sure to include the 2"x4" height in your height-from-ground calculation
  2. Mount bracketsto the wall studs using washers (optional) and screws while ensuring the brackets are level
  3. Align the tarpand 2"x4"x16' board next to each other with a 2" side laying on the ground
  4. Fasten the tarpto the board through the grommets using washers and screws
  5. Hang the boardon the brackets
  6. Fasten the boardto the brackets
  7. Place the doweland wrap the excess tarp around it
  8. Tie the tarpby threading the ties (or bungies) through the excess tarp grommets and around the board so the dowel has a resting position
    • Note The dowel's weight helps the tarp graze the ground so that gravity returns it to this resting position after each shot
    • Note We highly recommend placing additional soft material behind the tarp to ensure this resting position is reinforced

Tracking Camera Directions

3. Tracking Camera

  1. Unbox
    • Note Skip to step 6 if pre-assembled
  2. Fasten hardware—at the top-most area of the larger slot of the mount
    • Note Leave it loose enough that it can be hand-tightened in a later step, but not so loose that the hardware slides down the slot
  3. Place washer
    • Note This step is important to prevent unwanted heat transfer
  4. Fasten tracking camera—starting at 90° and thread 270° clockwise
    • Note Pinch the screw head against the back of the mount when threading the tracking camera clockwise to ease installation
    • Note Don't overtighten it and ensure that the washer prevents metal to metal contact
  5. Adjust—so that step 2 and step 4 have a combined snug—but not tight—fit
    • Note This eases subtle tracking camera rotation during calibration when using the app
  6. Plug-in USB-C—connector to the tracking camera through the slot
    • Note The USB-C connection should be vertical—fix step 2 if it is not
  7. Plug-in USB—connector into a blue USB port of the computer
    • Note The blue USB color signifies higher data-transfer speeds which is required for the tracking camera

You may later want to fix the tracking camera mount to a surface (table, ceiling, etc.). This is what the base slot is for. Hardware is not included for this optional step as the material to fix to varies by user preference.
